Tri-Pacer Flying through Seiners at Chignik Lake

When you cannot fly, you reminise of days when the weather was better. This shot is from the 80's when I was out photographing at Chignik Lake. A beautiful fall day, crisp air, and a breath taking scene as a friend pilots his Tri-Pacer, wheels skimming the water between acnhored up seiners.

Rain Rain Rain

The largest running days of rain in Alaska's recorded history. This does fair well for VFR flying in the mountains. Maybe next week......

Denali and Foraker Flight

Flew 659HC up over Knik Galcier then into Talkeetna. After a great lunch at the Roadhouse flew up into the Kahiltna Glacier with great views of Denali and Foraker. Found a new strip near the Nugget Bench. I was looking for the strip that Mort Mason wrote about in "Flying the Alaska Wild"
